Intro text
This was my letter to Shorty at his memorial service, held Nov.20, 2014. Dear Shorty, I miss you, oh God how I miss you. You were my best friend, my confidant, and my honey. There's a few things that people should know about you, you loved your family, fishing, all of your puppy dogs, and cats. But most of all you loved me. I don't know how I will survive without you, but if there is a god above, he'll help me through this. We met at the hanging tree in Greybull Wyoming, March 11, 1984, ( on free beer night of course,} I was 19 years old when we met, and now at 49, you've been recruited to go to the other side. I love you and will miss you for the remaining days of my existence here on earth.
