This memorial website was created in the memory of our beloved Christopher Nelms who was born in Birmingham, Alabama on 12th April 1997 and passed away on 4th September 2015, 18 years of age.Christopher was an avid hunter and fisherman as well as an accomplished woodsman and horseman. He was a regular attending member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and a senior at John Carrol Catholic High School.  He was a member of Boy Scout Troop 21 and was recently awarded the Eagle rank by the Greater Alabama Council.Visitation for friends and families will be held 4:00-6:00pm on Tuesday, September 8 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church located at 4600 Perserve Parkway, Hoover, Alabama .  A funeral mass will follow from  6:00-7:00pm.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cahaba River Society, 2717 7th Avenue South, Suite 205, Birmingham, Alabama 35233 or to the John Carrol Catholic High School Scholarship fund at 300 Lakeshore Parkway, Birmingham, Alabama 35209.
