Blakemore, David Wayne, 59, of Kissimmee, FL passed away May 22, 2008 at his home with his wife and daughter by his side. He was born in Philadelphia, PA and spent most of his adult life in Southern New Jersey before moving to Florida in 1995. Dave was in the US Army and served in Vietnam in 68-69. Before moving to Florida he worked for Thomas Nelson Publishing in Camden, NJ and until his illness he worked at Fountain Auto Mall in Orlando. David loved listening to music really loud, going on cruises with his family and making people laugh. David is survived by his wife of 19 years Margaret (Peg) , Daughter Donna (Alan) Borkowski of DE Granddaughters, Shannon, Maureen and Colleen Megill also of DE. Brothers Robert ( Jackie) Blakemore of TX ,Ted (Doris) Blakemore of FL and Ralph Blakemore of PA and his Stepmother, Jean Blakemore of PA. A Celebration of Dave’s life will be held at his home on Wednesday May 28, 2008 where friends and family may gather between 5:30-9pm. His family is also planning on taking a cruise in his memory at a later date.
