Dear Casey, Charli, and Lia... I still find it difficult to come up with the right words to tell you how much I miss Robin or describe what knowing her added to my life. So many days I look around my office and see something that triggers a memory of her. I'm so sad that I never had a chance to meet her "beautiful girls," though I treasure the photos of you that she sent. (Yes, she was one of those moms who talked about her babies—and her babe—all the time.) She was fiesty, irreverant, and a little bit pushy....perfect attributes for a publisher (she was good) and a friend. She made me laugh. But today, thinking about missing her, that's not easy. Charli and Lia, I'm hoping that you still have the teaset I sent to her for you? She wanted her daughters to best friends forever. I just wanted you to know that though time has passed, she still touches me.
