Rosie Eulogy
Our mother believed in us, and she encouraged us to be the best we could be, but she was not an authoritative mother. If we got a disappointing grade, she’d ask us if we had worked as hard as we could, and then she’d ask what else we needed to succeed. If we messed up and we got in trouble, she was quick to forgive and not so fast with discipline or the belt. Maybe slower than she should have been. But she always wanted us to know that we were loved unconditionally.
Our mother might not be walking on this earth anymore, but we know she’s watching us with every step we take, every success we have and every heartbreak we feel. And she’s behind her grandchildren and great grandchildren too. We all love you, Mom, and we will do our best to continue to make you proud of us. No matter what we do.
XOXOXO Rod and Denise
